    VDC Piping Manager

    About the Role

    We are seeking a talented VDC Piping Manager to join our team at John W. Danforth Company, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Northeast.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and oversee the VDC Piping team by assigning project work and executing project specifications.
    • Keep projects on schedule, ensuring VDC hours are effectively managed.
    • Develop and draw pipe models in Revit and coordinate with PM to develop VDC schedules.
    • Lead training sessions for the piping team, ensure accurate models are meeting QA/QC standards, build and maintain a supportive team environment.

    Requirements:

    • AAS/BA in a related field or equivalent industry experience; certifications may be required.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, integrity, and enthusiasm.
    • Technical Proficiency in Piping.
    • 7+ years in HVAC VDC.
    • 7+ years in 3D modeling and coordination.
    • Experience with Navisworks, Revit, and Stratus.
    • Familiarity with Trimble Connect and Vic Tools.
    • Ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively to create a results-driven environment.

    Compensation:

    The estimated compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $110,000 based on individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.
