The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and provides direct client care for adults with serious mental illness, or children/adolescents with emotional disturbances. The RN utilizes a Recovery Based process that consists of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.

How you will change lives... Behavioral Health Treatment
Participate in the assessment of physical, functional, and psychological needs.
Develop treatment plans by assisting persons served in setting goals.
Meet with assigned persons served face-to-face as deemed medically necessary.
Oversee individualized recovery process through clinical treatment.
Manage pharmaceutical medical supplies.
Identify emergency crisis, make clinical assessments, and respond accordingly.
Coordination of Care
Work with psychiatrists to ensure quality outcomes are achieved.
Collaborate with providers to coordinate psychiatric and medical treatment.
Provide referral to community resources, facilitate access, and monitor activities to ensure persons served needs are met.

Registered Nurse or Bachelor Science in Nursing
Active State of Michigan RN Licensure
Psychiatric Nurse (RN) experience (preferred).
Valid Michigan Driver's License.
