Position Overview:

Southeast Connections LLC, provides inclusive infrastructure solutions for the natural gas industry. We construct the systems and facilities to transport the nation's cleanest burning energy resource. Southeast Connections offers complete construction services that include pipeline construction, installation, maintenance, repairs, stations, facility modification and new construction. From Senior Management to the "boots on the ground", Southeast Connections, LLC is dedicated & determined to remain the industry leader and earn continued respect from clients through our professionalism.

Provide operational support to leadership by assisting in the management of financial performance and operational productivity while reinforcing standardized processes. Support forecasting efforts, monitor productivity metrics, and drive process adoption and compliance initiatives. This role helps streamline operations and reduce administrative burdens for field leaders, enabling them to focus on strategic and customer-centered priorities.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and coach the PMO team to ensure consistent execution and alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee 1-2 administrative assistants.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and remove inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow program managers and cross-functional departments to improve overall process flows.
  • Analyze operational data to identify early problems and support operations leadership with actionable insights.
  • Hold team members accountable, support change adoption, and foster a culture of teamwork and support to the field.
  • Ensure the field has what they need to execute effectively—locates, permits, customer requirements, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Accurately read and interpret profit and loss (P&L) statements.
  • Assist directors in forecasting financials month-over-month and support operational planning.
  • Understand and align with the operating plan and budgets for assigned regions.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within their territory and projects and communicate these effectively to leadership.
  • Train and mentor team members to grow skillsets and support succession planning.
  • Provide clear, data-supported updates to directors and executive leaders to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications/Special Knowledge Skills:

  • Proven leadership experience in project or project management, preferably in a utility or construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, and operational planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Finance or related fields preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations Management, or related leadership role.
  • Experience in Utility, Construction, Infrastructure, or field-based operations preferred.

  • Able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 15 pounds frequently.
  • Able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
