    Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition

    Functional Recruitment and Sourcing

    The Enterprise Talent Acquisition team is responsible for overseeing functional recruitment for Disney's domestic businesses including Disney Entertainment Television and Studios, ESPN, Disney Experiences, and Corporate. The group brings the expertise of overlaying talent strategies for best attracting and identifying the highest performing talent in the marketplace.

    The Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition will lead our capability in strategic development; and as a consultative recruitment expert and leader, the Director translates The Walt Disney Company enterprise vision, influence, and leadership expertise for driving and advancing integrated talent strategies. Working with a team of approximately 50+ talent acquisition professionals in varying geographies throughout the US, this leader will assist in driving and executing the organization's talent strategy across our functional businesses and Corporate.

    This will be inclusive of ensuring the organization's construct, standards & capabilities, resource allocation and operational capacity align to TWDC's talent strategies and priorities. The Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition will serve as an HR and talent acquisition executive responsible for leading, coaching, developing and inspiring an integrated team of TA leaders, recruiters and sourcers.

    Resource Management

    In addition, the Director, Enterprise Talent Acquisition will partner with the People Insights organization to develop effective resourcing strategies and headcount/workload capacity planning management for our Talent Acquisition teams across the Enterprise. This work seeks to optimize Talent Acquisition resource allocation, ensuring that the right people with the right skills are deployed to meet the demands of recruitment efforts as they ebb and flow. The goal is to maximize the Talent Acquisition organization's effectiveness, align resources with business needs, and drive overall talent acquisition success within the company. This work also aims to build broader business acumen across teams and lean into community building.

    This organization will:
    • Develop strategic business drivers, organizational vision, and key operating effectiveness for delivering critical, integrated talent strategies
    • Set forth talent strategies across Disney's Corporate and functional businesses in support of professional level roles
    • Consult with HR and business leaders to identify prioritized talent demand, forecast, gap analysis, and what business objectives need to be achieved
    • Establish credibility with the business as a trusted advisor who provides expert advice relative to the integration of talent strategies, processes, programs and practices
    • Enhance enterprise insight about what leaders need the most to drive and potentially transform their teams, leadership, and/or organization (now and in the future)
    • Drive and leverage insights for meaningful impact, influence, and measures of success
    • Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to turn vision into action, motivate others to achieve goals, and follow through on decisions
    • Build and overlay capabilities for talent and succession planning, DEI, talent forecasting, and people analytics to derive sophisticated insight to inform business planning
    • Represent, contribute, and integrate broader talent acquisition strategic priorities
    • Working closely with People Insights, develop a highly sophisticated resourcing tool that earns the trust of TA leadership, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
    • Strive for a balance between advocating for consistency in resourcing practices while also understanding and accommodating the unique requirements of different segments within the organization
    • Ensure representation of all groups, acknowledging the complexity and nuances across various talent acquisition (TA) teams
    • Consider the global application of strategies and initiatives, recognizing the diverse needs and perspectives across regions
    • Evaluate and consider the adoption of technical tools that can enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve the overall effectiveness of TA resource management
    • Embrace an "outside in" approach by conducting benchmarking and research to stay informed about industry best practices
    • Foster and maintain partnerships with resource management groups

    • Strong skills in data analysis, analytics, factoring the intricacies of TA data
    Required Experience and Education:
    • 7-10 years of relevant HR/talent acquisition experience
    • Experience leading talent acquisition strategy, process, and practices across a variety of highly complex functions and businesses
    • Experience managing a scaling a team toward ambitious results
    • Acumen in finance and headcount management, understanding the financial implications of TA decisions
    • Advanced working knowledge of talent acquisition technology, tools and AI
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    The hiring range for this position in California, or Remotely is $197,700 to $241,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
