    Call Requirements:
    None Caseload: 25-35 surgical cases per day Optional additional 10 cytologies Optional 3 to 10 bone marrow and flow cytometry cases per day Not responsible for blood bank or grossing own specimens No cutting frozen sections on the cryostat

    Patient Interaction:
    No involvement with residents in surgical cases

    Staff Support:
    Physicians: 2 physicians on-site alongside locums Histotechnologists: 8
    Pathology Assistants: 1 Cytotechnologists: 2

    Certifications Required:

    Board Certification:
    Required; fellowship preferred

    State License:

    Pennsylvania Laboratory Certifications:

    CLIA, CAP, PA State, FDA, AABB This position is located near Tipton, PA, and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with comprehensive laboratory support and advanced EMR technology.
