Job summary
The Automation Network and Server Engineer is responsible for the overall development, administration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all operations networks, historian servers, HMI's and cloud/web services.Designing implementing and optimizing OT network architectures across diverse industrial environments collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure robust protection of critical infrastructure integrating legacy systems with modern protocols and edge computing platforms leading network performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives working cross-functionally with engineering IT and operations to deliver seamless connectivity assisting the North American Operations with new existing network systems by providing programming design implementation troubleshooting to maintain backup improve performance regarding network infrastructure firewalls services data networks Wonderware HMIs historian servers data reliability PLC operations supporting maintenance troubleshooting all Wonderware Operator Station systems including InTouch System Platform InTouch Anywhere historian developing updating maintaining system documentation configurations network diagrams standards address tables etc performing maintaining backups critical data systems programs maintaining existing control workstations configuring deploying new workstations sites as required in collaboration production engineering teams designing implementing optimizing control systems ensure safety environmental compliance productivity efficiency reliability quality products systems generating reviewing approving project control programs functional specifications directing coordinating internal external resources projects commissioning electrical automation networking sys-tems receiving scope functionality documentation complete meeting end users expectations focus functional effectiveness long term reliability ease maintenance interfacing equipment system integration vendors expediting documentations deliveries additional duties assigned management.
