    Industrial Security Representative This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to be considered
    Support the industrial security department and Department of Defense (DoD) security program Maintain Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB) computer databases with vital security information
    Collect and organize data in a cohesive manner for use in the Security Information Management System (SIMS) or other similar personnel tracking databases
    Manage security clearance processing and maintenance, security education, and contract management
    Assist in ensuring proper personnel security procedures are followed in accordance with the following: 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community and Government Regulations, Directives, and all applicable Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB) policies and procedures

    Industrial Security Representative Responsibilities Include:

    • Utilizes the Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) to accurately track and maintain clearances; manages the administration of the DISS, SIMS, or similar database, which includes account management, initiation of clearance requests, reviewing SF-86 submissions for completeness and accuracy, and capturing and/or submitting e-Fingerprints.
    • Maintains and updates the Personnel Security Management Network (PSMnet); initiate security clearance requests and maintains records within the company approved databases.
    • Assists in the preparation of written security plans which includes implementation of security procedures and practices in coordination with applicable government regulations.
    • Develops and leads security briefings/debriefings and tracks training requirements.
    • Participates in self-inspections, Defense Security Service assessments, and other government and/or company audits.
    • Interfaces with program personnel, government customers, and CNB management at all levels.
    • Leads the administration of visitor control requests and functions.
    • Records maintenance of all facility and security clearance documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

    Industrial Security Representative Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

    • Must be U.S
    Citizen


    • Active TS/SCI clearance, or ability to obtain clearance, to be considered for this position.
    • 5+ years of industrial security or relevant experience.
    • Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), ICD 705, and other IC policies and directives.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, SIMS, and ACCS systems.
    • Candidate should have excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
    • Able to operate independently and as part of a team.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.
    • Working knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance.
    • Previous security experience with the Intelligence Community
    • Knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs.
