    Summary of Position


    Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a comprehensive otolaryngologist with a strong interest in otology.

    The successful candidate will be board eligible or board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Applicants with advanced otology fellowship training are encouraged to apply.

    A strong commitment to patient care, resident and medical student education, as well as clinical research is required.

    This individual has the opportunity to grow a robust comprehensive otolaryngology practice to include a 50% appointment at the Wilmington Veteran's Administration Hospital and assume an established otology practice.

    The position provides a leadership role as Chief of Otolaryngology-HNS at the VA with exciting opportunities for programmatic builds, leadership development, and community outreach.


    The successful candidate will be joining an exceptional otolaryngology program steeped in history dating back to the early 1900's when Dr.

    Chevalier Jackson emerged as the "father of endoscopy", pioneering the field of laryngology to include foreign body removal. This innovative spirit, dedication to clinical excellence, commitment to teaching, and pursuit of knowledge continues in the Department today.

    Our faculty spans the entire depth and breadth of the field to include head and neck surgery, laryngology, otology, neurotology, skull base surgery, rhinology, allergy, sleep medicine, facial plastics & reconstructive surgery as well as pediatric otolaryngology.

    Many are recognized as national and international experts in their respective subspecialty. Together Temple Otolaryngology provides personalized, compassionate, and cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary care to patients and their families.

    Minimum Candidate Qualifications


    • M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
    • Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery.
    • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
    • Credentials for appointment at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor
