    Data Science Analyst Pay And Benefits

    • Hourly pay: $50-$60 (Pay varies based on candidate's location and experience)

    Data Science Analyst Responsibilities

    • Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct complex analyses on large datasets to uncover trends, correlations, and patterns that drive customer success strategies.
    • Insight Generation and Communication: Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling to inform decision-making. Translate findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
    • Data Management: Establish robust data collection, storage, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of analyses.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners in customer success and adjacent teams to integrate data-driven insights into strategies and initiatives.
    • Reporting and Visualization: Create interactive reports and visualizations that clearly communicate analytical results to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Keep up with industry trends in data science and analytics to drive innovation and improve customer success outcomes.
    • Project Management: Lead analytics projects from inception to completion, aligning with strategic goals and ensuring delivery of measurable value to the organization.

    Data Science Analyst Qualifications

    • 2+ years of Business analytics experience in a medium-to-large company
    • 4+ years of relevant industry or relevant academia experience working with large amounts of data
    • 4+ years of Experience with SQL/Relational databases
    • 4+ years experience in at least one programming languages (e.g., R, Python (pandas), Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript)
    • 4+ years of Statistical modeling project experience, including but not limited to regression, tree-based, and clustering models
    • 4+ years of Experience in data visualization and dashboard design
    • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Informatics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Economics, etc.
    • MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering.
    • Experience with data modeling, ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Load) concepts, and patterns for efficient data governance preferred.
    • Experience with forecasting modeling preferred.
    • Experience on a / adjacent to a Business Intelligence team preferred.
    • Experience with customer bookings or CRM data preferred.
    • Experience with SQL/Relational databases.
    • Experience working with databases that power APIs for front-end applications.
    • Experience with either data workflows/modeling, front-end engineering, or back-end engineering.
    • Experience in developing data pipelines using Spark and Hive.
    • Deep understanding of technical and functional designs for relational and MPP Databases.
    • Experience working in the product analytics domains.
    • Experience in data visualization and dashboard design including tools such as Tableau, R visualization packages, D3, and other Javascript libraries, etc.
    • Background in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript).
    • Knowledge of Unix and Unix-like systems, git, and review board.
    • Self-starter, able to work independently but ask for guidance when needed
    • Speak comfortably in a variety of settings including one-on-one and in front of large groups and adapt communication style for different audiences.
    • Nimble and comfortable with ambiguity; a track record of responding quickly to rapidly evolving opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex data environments and provide guidance to business leaders.
    • Self-starter & independent.
