    Our corporate office in Brea, CA has an immediate need for an experienced, detail-oriented, Cost Analyst. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, reporting to the Controller.

    This is an in-office position.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Calculate FSR commissions and costs through job costing for completed installations.
    • Communicate with Install Coordination and Dispatch to ensure information received from Service Titan is accurate.
    • Analyze costs incurred during installations to calculate gross profit.
    • Create monthly summaries to analyze cost of goods sold and other expenses related to installations.
    • Prepare commissions adjustments for installations for the chargeback process.
    • Assist Sales Manager and Operations Manager in researching paid commissions.
    • Manage and update Excel spreadsheets for job costing.
    • Review daily completed installs and assign to job costing team.
    • Ensure all completed installs have been costed for due commission payables.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred.
    • Knowledge of analytics, job costing practices and principles
    • Ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers
    • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems
    • Ability to use an automated accounting system
    • Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing
    • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills, advanced knowledge of Excel
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 2 – 4 years college education preferred

    WORK CONDITIONS

    • Use standard office equipment, including computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc
    • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time
    • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job
    • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently
    • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables
    • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 25 pounds
    • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment
    • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate
