    Maintenance staff will report directly to the Facilities Supervisor. Maintenance staff play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe and functional environment. This role involves the execution of cleaning, organization and preventive maintenance tasks in facilities to guarantee a pleasant environment and comply with hygiene and safety standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, and removing debris.
    • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks in facilities, such as changing light bulbs, checking plumbing systems and other activities to avoid future problems.
    • Organization and Order: Maintain common areas, storage, and work surfaces that are neat and organized. Collaborate in the proper arrangement of furniture and materials to facilitate cleaning and workflow. Avoid changes in location or frequent reorganization of materials, tools, furniture and other workplace equipment. Keep the equipment and work site in order, reporting any irregularities.
    • Handling Cleaning Products and Materials: Use cleaning products and disinfectants appropriately and safely. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and order replenishments as needed. Replenish material (paper towel, toilet paper, liquid soap). Fill snacks and drinks in building refrigerators.
    • Waste Management: Classify and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures and environmental regulations. Coordinate with garbage and recycling collection services. Empty office shredders.
    • Maintenance of Specific Areas: Special focus on cleaning and maintaining specific areas such as bathrooms, kitchen [dining room], meeting rooms and offices. Clean furniture, desks, shelves, cabinets, files, doors, locks, stairs, railings, refrigerators, chairs, among others. Cleaning windows and coffee machines. Carry out dust control in all areas (furniture, computers, windows, ceilings, walls, lamps) ensuring high hygiene standards. Pass pressure machine in service workshops (this task is usually required to be performed on Saturdays, although you must be available to perform it if necessary before Saturday, as required). Clean sidewalks with a pressure machine, remove "weeds" from the parking lot floor, sewers, and spaces accessible to our clients.
    • Reporting and Communication: Report any significant problems or maintenance needs to supervisors. Communicate efficiently with other departments to coordinate activities. Notify management of the need for materials before their supply runs out.
    • Safety at Work: Comply with occupational health and safety regulations. Report unsafe conditions or risk situations. Avoid obstacles that may pose a risk of tripping in work areas.
    • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and compliance with standards. Collaborate in the assembly and disassembly of activities. Assist the filing area in moving boxes. Move furniture desks, among others, to be able to clean the areas. Assist in moving apartments to other facilities. Install new elements (assembly of furniture, paintings, refrigerators, shelves, small electrical installations, among others)
    • Carry equipment and materials up to a maximum of approximately 25 to 30 pounds
    • Attend punctually to meetings that require your presence
    • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
    • Comply with company policies and what is established in the Employee Manual.

    Requirements

    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and follow instructions.
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and maintenance techniques.
    • Knowledge of OSHA or Workplace Safety
    • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance.
    • School Grade-Fourth Year
    • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
