    This senior-level position involves leading the planning, development, and execution of complex clinical application projects.

    The Clinical Application Analyst III has a high level of expertise in clinical systems and plays a key role in strategic decision-making related to these systems.

    Responsibilities include advanced system analysis, project management, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    This role often involves leadership responsibilities, quality monitoring, mentoring junior staff, and may include direct involvement in organizational policy development.

    The Analyst III is expected to stay abreast of the latest trends in healthcare technology and recommend improvements to optimize clinical and operational efficiency.


    Responsibilities

    Strategic Planning and Leadership:
    Takes a leadership role in strategic planning for clinical application use and development. Guides junior staff and leads project teams.


    Complex System Management:
    Oversees complex system configurations, integrations, and upgrades. Responsible for ensuring system reliability and performance.


    Innovation and Optimization:
    Identifies opportunities for system improvements and innovations. Leads efforts to optimize clinical workflows through IT solutions.


    Training and Development:
    Oversees training programs for end-users and IT staff. Develops training materials and protocols.


    Policy Development and Compliance Oversight:

    Plays a key role in developing policies related to clinical applications and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.



    Critical thinking skills:
    Demonstrates strong, well defined analytical critical thinking skills and applies to all aspects of duties

    Participates in On-Call rotation.

    Performs other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications


    Education Minimum:
    High School Diploma or GED equivalent and ten (10) years of related highest complexity IT/clinical experience

    Must show proven success in the support of Clinical Applications and maintaining system certifications.


    Education Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university and six (6) years of related advanced IT/clinical experience


    OR

    Associate Degree/Professional Healthcare License and eight (8) years of related highest complexity IT/clinical experience.
