In this critical role, you'll be a champion for our digital security. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments of our applications and software, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities to safeguard us from cyber threats like hacking, phishing, and ransomware.

• Lead the Charge: Oversee the application security program for our entire division, ensuring all applications comply with our security policies.
• Collaborate for Success: Partner with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle of new applications.
• Identify & Mitigate Risk: Assess applications for vulnerabilities, conduct threat modeling, and recommend appropriate controls to minimize risk exposure.
• Patch Management Pro: Manage the application security patching program, keeping track of security versions and ensuring timely updates.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine our security posture by analyzing incidents and implementing learnings to prevent future breaches.
• Compliance Champion: Collaborate with security operations to build comprehensive detection and response capabilities, ensuring all applications meet security requirements.
• Safety First: Uphold our commitment to a world-class safety culture by prioritizing safe and secure practices.

To be successful, you'll need:

• A solid understanding of cloud migration, application security development lifecycle, and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience securing cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one risk assessment methodology.
• Experience with Security Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of achieving business objectives.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and control implementation.
• Experience in agile and waterfall development methodologies.
• Recognized security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISMP).
• Cloud-specific certifications (CSA CCSK, CCSP, AZ-900).
