    Summit Properties seeks full time Assistant Community Manager for 150+ apartments in Chittenden County.

    The Assistant Community Manager is part of the onsite team that works directly with the Community Manager to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the site and also acts as a back-up when the Community Manager is out.

    Assistant CM will enjoy administrative and accounting work, as well as be comfortable and confident in a customer service role.

    Other professional traits we are seeking include ability to work independently, manage time effectively, attentive to details, organized, willing to tackle challenges and solve problems.

    Specific duties and job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Administrative tasks and reporting including both paper and electronic filingAssisting the Community Manager with tenants relations and rent collectionAssisting the Community Manager with leasing of the property and maintaining the waitlistWorking with Compliance to ensure tax credit complianceSkills and

    Experience Requirements:2-3 years experience in property managementAffordable Housing experience including LIHTC and Section 8 programs is preferredProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel, Word & OutlookExperience in MRI or other real estate software is preferredWillingness to tackle challenges and solve problemsCandidate will live no further than 45 minutes from South Burlington, VT.
