One of our Waste management clients based out in Houston, TX is looking for a "QA automation Test Engineer" for a long term contract opportunity.

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer proficient in Selenium with Java Framework, well-versed in Java Object-Oriented Programming concepts, and experienced in utilizing TestNG annotations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the importance of configuration, proficiency in implementing retry mechanisms for robust test execution, and adeptness in interacting with Excel for test data management.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java Framework.
• Implement Java Object-Oriented Programming concepts for efficient and scalable test automation solutions.
• Utilize TestNG annotations to organize and manage test suites effectively.
• Configure and manage to streamline test execution and suite management.
• Implement retry mechanisms to ensure test stability and reliability.
• Interact with Excel spreadsheets to manage and retrieve test data efficiently.
• Conduct API testing and possess knowledge of API testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with TOSCA framework is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Selenium with Java Framework and Java Object-Oriented Programming.
• Proficiency in TestNG annotations and the importance of configuration.
• Strong understanding of retry mechanisms in automated testing.
• Experience in interacting with Excel for test data management.
• Knowledge of API testing methodologies is desirable.
• Familiarity with TOSCA framework is a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
