In this role, you will be responsible for providing valuable support in paraprofessional and clerical tasks within the school program, under the guidance of the School Nurse or School Nursing Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, perform, or assist in vision and hearing screenings. Support in scoliosis screenings.
• Maintain and update school health records accurately. Manage and organize health room supplies, inventory, and equipment.
• Document daily activities and maintain statistics. Notify parents about student absences, illnesses, or injuries.
• Consult with the school nurse or School Nursing Supervisor for guidance on tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficient in reading, writing, following instructions, and maintaining records. Completion of CPR and First Aid training with regular recertification. Ability to take and record vital signs accurately and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. Familiarity with computer systems.

Special Skills:
Capable of medium to heavy work. Able to handle varying weights and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and handling objects. Position may require sitting, carrying, bending, and lifting objects of up to 70 pounds.

Must have adequate vision and hearing for the role's duties.
