    ChristianaCare's Center for Hope and Healing is looking to hire a Full Time Behavioral Health Therapist to support the Riverside and Hope Center programs in Wilmington, DE

    The Center for Hope and Healing offers support to people in our community who are struggling with mental, medical and social health problems. The Center was created to give patients access to providers who can help stabilize their health and their lives.

    The Behavioral Health Therapist will provide office based clinical assessment and mental health therapy services for a diverse caseload of patients who are primarily adult and homeless populations.

    Work Schedule:
    • Monday- Friday: 8am- 4:30pm.
    • No weekends or holidays
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conducts individual psychotherapy with assigned patients and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
    • Conducts psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
    • Develops coordinated treatment plan in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
    • Reports and updates pertinent patient information to physician and treatment team in a timely manner.
    • Identifies milieu deficits and assists in implementing appropriate measures to meet needs.
    • Tracks referrals of patients requesting services.
    • Ongoing coordination of care with medical providers and psychiatric providers inside and outside the ChristianaCare.
    • Completes clinical documentation in a concise, accurate, and timely manner with proper use of technology.

    Qualifications:
    • Master's or doctor's degree which qualifies in their state for licensure or certification is required.
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW, LPC or LPCMH preferred.
    • Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) and Mental Health Counselors (MHCs) with at least 2 years or 3,000 hours of postmaster's degree clinically supervised experience required and must be licensed in order to bill independently.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health setting preferred.
