The Senior Aerospace Program Manager is responsible for the successful execution of space and aerospace programs with an emphasis on space vehicle development satellite payloads and mission-driven systems.This role oversees technical schedule and cost performance while coordinating across a matrixed organization of engineering science and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities include leading the technical schedule and financial execution of one or more aerospace or space vehicle programs managing programs supporting space vehicle development satellite missions payload integration and space-based sensing systems serving as the primary program interface for customers partners and vendors fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams developing managing program budgets funding profiles forecasts monitoring contract subcontract performance preparing staffing plans aligned to contract scope delivering required contract project financial reports to internal leadership external stakeholders supporting follow-on business organic growth proposal activities related to space vehicle satellite mission programs Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 16-18 years experience Master's degree with 14+ years experience or PhD with 10+ years experience possessing maintaining a Secret clearance demonstrated experience managing spacecraft(space)vehicle satellite or aerospace programs strong background in technical program management excellent communication leadership skills passion innovation delivering mission-critical solutions PMP Certification Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range including differentiating factors such as Contract Wage Determination relevant work experience skills competencies geographic location education certifications Federal Government Contract Labor categories Arcfield invests its employees beyond just compensation benefits offerings dependent upon position Health Insurance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Short Term Long-Term Disability Retirement Savings Learning Development opportunities Wellness Programs Optional Benefit Elections EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer federal government contractor do not discriminate employee applicant employment protected law Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management Information Technology Industries Engineering Services
