    Responsibilities you will have

    • Process prescription requests while fostering trusted customer relationships and demonstrating patience, empathy, care, and compassion
    • Resolve rejected insurance claims and tackle issues to secure the best outcome for customers
    • Adhere to departmental processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify data
    • Maintain smooth department operations by assisting with tasks, managing inventory levels by ordering, rotating, and stocking medications and supplies
    • Handle products correctly, utilize equipment, maintain accurate logs, and follow sanitation protocols

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in using computers
    • Aptitude for basic mathematical computations to ensure accurate data entry and prescription filling
    • State-specific requirement – may necessitate Pharmacy Technician certification
    • New Jersey applicants need to be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Experience with product ordering and inventory management
    • Background as a Pharmacy Technician
    • Pharmacy Technician – Certification

    Note to applicant: In some states where we operate, certification and/or state registration is mandatory to work as a Pharmacy Technician. In these locations, Wegmans might hire individuals before they obtain the necessary qualifications, offering support throughout the process. In select places, Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians will receive a $.50/hour shift differential.
