Job Description Experienced Upholstererer Needed
ProStaffing has partnered with a furniture company located here in Conover We are seeking experienced candidates for an upholstery opening.
Hours for this Upholstery position:

• Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Pay for this Upholstery position:

• $22/hr, or based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Upholster and repair furniture, vehicles, or other items using various techniques and materials
• Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather to fit furniture or vehicle specifications
• Inspect furniture or vehicle frames for damage and make necessary repairs
• Assemble and install upholstery components such as springs, padding, and cushions
• Use hand tools, sewing machines, and power tools to complete upholstery tasks
• Collaborate with clients to determine design preferences and fabric choices
• Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an upholsterer or similar role
• Proficient in using sewing machines, hand tools, and power tools for upholstery work
• Knowledge of different fabrics, materials, and their appropriate uses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings for upholstery projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot upholstery issues
• Experience with auto restoration or custom upholstery is a plus
