CHOR Youth & Family Services is seeking Youth Counselors in the Lehigh Valley for our Paths Program located in Breinigsville, PA.
Paths is a community-based specialized group treatment home for boys between the ages of 10 and 15.Youth in the program attend community schools through the Parkland School District and participate in a high level of recreational activities as well as being immersed in a highly interactive and positive social milieu.
We are looking for both Part-Time and Full-Time staff for 1st shift, 2nd shift, overnight shifts and weekends. The program operates 24/7; these positions require rotational shift work (8:00am-4:00pm; 4:00pm-12:00am; 12:00am-8:00am). Assigned shifts may vary, allowing for a highly flexible schedule.Starting salary is $17.50 (ALL SHIFTS)

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a variety of counseling, communication, and parenting skills, which supports the formation of trusting, supportive relationships with the residents.
Actively supervise residents during academic instruction, recreational activity, in the community, and in common areas of the facility.
Collaboratively create residential behavioral goals in conjunction with clinical staff and case manager.
Create and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and reports to record residents' progress toward behavioral goals.
Will be trained in accordance with our structured program policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services related field OR: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years working with youth.
Must pass criminal history (including FBI) and child abuse history clearances.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
