$ per hourWe are seeking a talented User Researcher with strong user research skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continual learning and improvement for our clientAs a User Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking by crafting and executing research strategies, delivering actionable insights, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting research initiatives, synthesizing findings into compelling reports, and contributing to product development through informed decision-making.


Responsibilities:
Structure and plan moderately complex research initiatives, encompassing generative and formative research methodologies.
Design, administer, and analyze research studies, producing materials such as research agendas, discussion guides, and generative exercises.
Synthesize findings into comprehensive reports, translating complex concepts into actionable recommendations and visual frameworks.
Support cross-functional Design Thinking exercises, leveraging research insights to drive ideation and innovation.
Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to define product requirements and outcomes.
Present findings to team members and stakeholders with varying backgrounds and organizational levels.
Incorporate business understanding into research framing and recommendations.


Qualifications:

Experience level:

ExperiencedMinimum 6 years of experienceEducation: BachelorsStrong evaluative User Research skills with a focus on continual skill development in related areas such as UX Writing and Interaction Design.

Experience planning and conducting various research methodologies, with an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
Ability to independently lead moderately complex research studies from inception to completion.
Previous experience collaborating within design teams and cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering.
Comfortable presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
Significant proficiency with UX Research tools for diary studies, remote research, and usability testing.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Foundational understanding of Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
Familiarity with ethnographic, contextual inquiry, and other generative research techniques.
Intermediate project planning and management skills.
