- Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals suspected of having ASD, using standardized tools such as the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
- Family Consultation: Provide guidance and support to families of individuals diagnosed with ASD, including discussing diagnosis outcomes, intervention strategies, and resources.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and confidential client records, write comprehensive diagnostic reports, and communicate findings to families, schools, and other relevant parties.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in ASD diagnosis and treatment and participate in ongoing education and training
- Current licensure as a psychologist in Illinois.
- Specialized training and experience in diagnosing ASD, including proficiency in administering and interpreting ASD-specific assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathize with clients and their families.
