- Physical exam and assessment of surgical oncology patients in the office
- Assistance in surgery
- Rounding on the inpatient floor
- Triage of patients on the telephone, post-operatively, and in the office
- Assistance with ordering of diagnostic tests as needed
- Assisting physicians with procedures
- Must possess a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
- Two years of experience as a practicing PA preferred.
- Must possess a State of Maryland Physician Assistant License, in good standing.
- Certification Requirements: CPR.
- Must possess skills in the use of various computers and software programs.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.

This job is a very unique PA position, as you will work in 3 different patient care areas: inpatient unit, outpatient clinic, and operating room.
Our Physician Assistants are given the opportunity to work as a first assist in the operating room, while also alternating weeks in the inpatient unit and clinic.
You will also enjoy great the comradery of being part of a team of 6 PAs.
