mroads is looking for a 'Java Backend Developer' for one of the direct clients in Bethesda, MD. This is a remote opportunity with the client.

Please not that we are looking for candidates who can work on W2.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Design and develop efficient and scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debug and resolve technical issues that arise.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java and backend development.
• Experience working with AWS services.
• Solid understanding of API development and integration.
• Familiarity with database management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
