    QualificationsHow You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities Perform quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and a favorable customer service experience during procedures Maintain appropriate documentation of patient records especially in the Radiology Information System and PACS (computer systems) to meet operating standards, corporate compliance practices, and/or regulatory and accreditation requirements Present appropriate imaging and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist Collaborate and participate in department related projects and/or teams focused on improvement opportunities as needed Perform other related operational duties such as, transporting patients, managing office/clerical functions, engaging in equipment troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, and cleaning ultrasound equipment Qualifications/Experience Education/Accredited Programs

    • Successful completion of an accredited Echocardiography Program required
    • Bachelor's degree in health sciences or a related field is a plus Experience
    • 1-3 years of echocardiography experience preferred
    • Experience working in both an inpatient and outpatient setting highly preferred Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
    • ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible in Adult Echocardiography required
    • CPR certification required Skills/Abilities In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and analyzing imaging data Ability to be detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and physicians Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Possess strong skills in the following areas: Transthoracic, Stress, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms GE and Philips ultrasound equipment 2D, MMode, Color Doppler, PW/CW, 3D proficient
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a patient population of diverse educational, cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds Salary RangeThe expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $33.07 to $51.20 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
