    Overview:

    The successful student intern will provide human resources support. Seeking a student currently enrolled full time in college to work part-time hours/week) during the school year and possibly full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer. Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, and work in the office 3 days a week during the summer and continue working a flexible schedule in the fall and spring.

    This position will be filled at the level according to the candidates experience and education level: HR Intern I, II, III or IV.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with organizing files, storing documents, HR reporting and related human resource functions in the Corporate HR group.

    Assist with HR-related projects related to the improvement of services to the business.

    Interface with managers and employees and assist with HR-related questions.

    Enter, pull, and interpret data and employee information in the human resources information system (HRIS) as necessary.

    Basic administration functions such as filing and scanning documents.

    All other duties and projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and completed at least one year of college (over 30 semester hours). Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

    Requires excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook and Excel).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Above average interpersonal written/oral communication skills.

    Minimum GPA 3.0

    Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment.

    Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Experience using Excel is a must.
