Description
The School of Literature, Writing, and Digital Humanities seeks two full-time Non-Tenure Track (NTT) lecturers to teach entry-level undergraduate composition classes, and possibly courses in the Professional and Public Writing Specialization or in English Education.
Examples of Duties
Successful candidates will teach entry-level undergraduate composition classes offered by the School of Literature, Writing, and Digital Humanities, with possibility of mid-level classes in the Professional and Public Writing Specialization within the English Major, or classes in English Education.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
MA in either English, English Education, or related field and demonstrated experience teaching at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MA or PhD) in either Rhetoric and Composition or English Education. Ability to teach undergraduate courses in English Education, especially classes that focus on instruction in how to teach writing and/or reading at the secondary level.
