    Description
    Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. Responsibilities You will consult on process improvement functions (e.g., Lean Six Sigma [LSS] initiatives) to reinforce proper execution. You will identify productivity efficiencies and processes through the use of Lean Six Sigma or other methodology.

    You will collaborate with other Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black or Green Belts in other business areas to improve end-to-end processes across an organization.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining existing training courses and providing training for Champions, Supervisors, BBs, GBs and Yellow Belts (YBs) on the DMAIC methodology using LEAN, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints and other tools; 2) Serve as the LSS/BB technical expert, facilitates cross-functional multi-discipline, interdepartmental and cross command initiatives; 3) Mentor BBs and GBs in executing CPI projects including rapid improvement events on targeted value streams and task force team projects across the organization and commands; 4) Ensure integration and strategic alignment of projects with Line of Business/Operations Champions strategic goals and objectives.

Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.

    PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
