This person willmanage corporate approaches and strategies for strategic sourcing, supplier development, and value add transportation management, ensuring sustainable cost savings andstrong supplier relations.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university.
Must have at least 3 years Transportation Management experience in the food industry.
Responsibilites:
Daily audit of shipments from prior day, checking for tender acceptance from carrier, orgin/destination accuracy, contract rate compliance, and proactive disruption management (follow up on shipments not picked up)Build out LTL strategy that may includeutilizing internal warehouse network for inbound injection, carrier network, and RFP of lanes.
