    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Industrial Engineer Intern will work with Plant Engineers to eliminate waste and document the production process through cycle time studies, plant layouts, writing work instructions and participating in corrective action work groups.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Take time studies of all operations: full throughput, equipment by equipment, and bottleneck analysis.
    Complete Change Requests to change rates of major found discrepancies.
    Writing and updating work instructions.
    Identify potential improvements in all processes.

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    Subject to noise, heat, oil residues from a manufacturing environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and move about the facility.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Enrolled in an accredited Engineering, Manufacturing or Technology degree program.
    Strong Excel and computer skills.
    Ability to multi-task.
    Ability to work independently.
