    Talascend is seeking a Quality Supervisor for an opportunity in Detroit, MI


    OVERVIEW:
    The supervisor will manage a team, ensure process controls meet corporate standards, prevent defects, and drive continuous improvement


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Manage quality control activities and supervise hourly employees. Conduct daily audits and enforce accountability, including disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Identify process improvements and document findings for management. Lead cross-functional teams, communicate results, and drive quality initiatives. Perform process audits, review process conformity, and implement corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Develop and sustain vehicle control plans, recommend error-proofing strategies. Provide training and coaching, analyze quality data, and implement new initiatives.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years of experience as a Quality Supervisor. Strong planning and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office or Google Office. Ability to analyze data and work in varying environments. Excellent verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities. DESIRED


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Manufacturing or assembly plant experience. Lead Auditor certifications. Supervisory experience with hourly personnel. Basic knowledge of statistics. Previous leadership experience is a plus. Engineering degree or equivalent. This is a 100% onsite position requiring flexibility, strong technical skills, and leadership capabilities in the automotive quality sector.
