    Description
    Position Objective:This role will be a hybrid position between the Customer Service and Sales Administration Team. This position will report directly to the Customer Sales Support Supervisor. The primary role will be to manage the switchboard/front office and order processing for the commercial division.

    Compensation for Manufacturing Sales Support Specialist:
    • Pay $16-17/hour

    Duties include:
    • Keep all customer information updated in Syspro, Act, and/or Excel databases.
    • Enter, track, and research sample orders/statuses and communicate to reps and customers.
    • Assist with other order entry and all that encompasses.
    • Process POD rebates.
    • Provides pricing, freight quotes and delivery information to customers.
    • Responsible for logging all emailed and faxed orders on a daily log sheet.
    • Process customer orders, request and send acknowledgements.
    • Proof customers' orders to ensure complete information has been entered.
    • Must maintain accurate files and notes on orders as needed.
    • Respond to customer (internal as well as external) via email and phone.
    • Provides pricing, freight quotes and delivery information to customers.
    • Must keep current with customer accounts and special requirements.
    • Resolve issues with customer orders, which may include coordination with sales, warehouse, and logistics employees.
    • Must maintain good knowledge of product base and keep current.
    • Enter, track, and research Commercial and Sample orders/statuses and communicate to reps and customers as needed.
    • Keep up with logistical processing of customer orders, which may include coordination with sales, warehouse, and logistics employees.
    • Assists as needed with logging email requests, orders and checking the daily work log for the CS team.
    Other duties may be assigned.
    Qualifications/Skills:
    • Must possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Word and Excel.
    • Capable of data entry with detail and accuracy.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to multi-task and have good organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication abilities both verbal and written.
    • Other administrative duties as assigned
    • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
