    About the Job

    We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual who can perform or assist patients with personal care activities, such as hygiene, mobility, and elimination. The successful candidate will also practice universal infection control precautions and respect the autonomy and confidentiality of all patients and families. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform or assist patients with personal care activities, such as hygiene, mobility, and elimination.
    • Practice universal infection control precautions in all contacts with patients.
    • Assist patients/families with home maintenance activities, such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
    • Practice safe transfer, ambulation, normal range of motion, and positioning techniques.
    • Respect the autonomy and right to confidentiality of all patients and families.
    • Document patient interactions and submit documentation in a timely manner.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to perform or assist patients with personal care activities.
    • Knowledge of universal infection control precautions.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.
    • Reliability and punctuality.
