    Description
    Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019.

    Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM's, deploying new VM's and working with application teams on Middleware support.

    Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues

    Task Description:

    Windows Administrative activities include:

    • Be a Team Lead
    • Prioritize tasks and identify bottlenecks in the environment.
    • Evaluate tools and deploy in working environment.
    • Maintaining a stable Windows environment.
    • Help Junior Admins with Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
    • Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment
    • Update Ansible with automation scripts
    • Write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work
    • Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment
    • Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos
    • Manage active Directory and DNS
    • Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM's
    • Will serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current state, and designing and building the next generation infrastructure.
    • Must excel at troubleshooting extremely complex problems to resolution.
    • Must be able to train and mentor Junior Level SAs.

    Required skills/Level of Experience :

    • Greater than twelve (12) years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual
    • Must have Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent
    • Hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center
    • Should have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment
    • Active Directory Management
    • VMWare ESXi
    • The ability to obtain a security clearance
