    DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT:
    Provide high availability of a flexible, reliable, secure, and cost-effective technology environment. Strategically plan, train, and implement technology for future company needs.


    SUMMARY:
    This position reports to the Director of IT and will operate cross-functionally with all departments within the company

    The IT Manager:
    Manages and supports Information Technology infrastructure and security resources.
    Builds and maintains strong working relationships with outside vendors. Leverage our technology partners to provide and monitor a secure and stable technology environment.
    Assists in determining and implementing the organization's short and long-term strategic technology direction.

    Continually analyze IT infrastructure, systems, and security to control operating costs, maintain productivity levels, understand upgrade requirements, and other metrics.

    Recommend infrastructure improvements to meet current and future organizational needs.

    Develop, implement, and oversee risk mitigation strategies, security of systems, networks, and enterprise information while ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements including conducting periodic audits and due diligence checks of security protocols and systems evaluations for vulnerabilities.


    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Strategic Thinking and Goal DevelopmentDevelops goals, strategies, and initiatives for IT that support the overall company strategic plan.

    Leads a technical team that continuously challenges themselves to drive innovative thinking and stay in front of trends and the changing technology landscape.

    Maintaining current knowledge of new and upcoming technology, technology trends, and IT best practicesExecution of Technology ProjectsCreates project timelines to maintain, service, and replace IT equipment, security camera systems, and VOIP systems; and to evaluate IT services and vendors, and update contracts.

    Develops, implements, and tests business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.

    Drive the development and implementation of a cybersecurity framework, including disaster and emergency recovery plans.
    Evaluate and eliminate redundant IT applications.
    Ensure the security and scalability of IT platforms.
    IT ManagementEstablish, implement, and ensure compliance of technology standards, SOP's, policies, and processes.
    Ensure all IT policies and procedures reflect current best practices and comply with government regulations. Ensure strict adherence to defined IT policies and procedures.
    Creates timelines to maintain, service, and replace IT equipment, security camera systems, and VOIP systems.
    Assist in management and continually evaluate the performance of third-party vendors and services.
    Assist in the creation of the IT operating and capital budgets.
    Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to staff.

    Manage the procurement of hardware and software and maintain effective equipment inventory, to ensure that the organization has high quality, efficient systems.

    Team Alignment and DevelopmentDevelop talent for current and future needs of the business.

    Including attracting, retaining and training talent within Bigelow's IT DepartmentCreate a strong and collaborative environment by being team oriented (needs to be credible; engender trust, respect and loyalty).

    Sr. IT Operations Analyst (3 direct reports)EDUCATION AND/


    OR EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems.

    Information Technology certifications a plusTen plus years of experience in information systems management with experience leading technical teams and complex technology initiatives.

    Extensive knowledge of IT hardware, networking, and security in a multi-location environmentStrong understanding of IT security protocols and risk mitigations strategies, hardware and software procurement, and inventory management of IT equipmentExperience with leading and mentoring staffAbility to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training
