- Responsibilities:Reviewing, editing, and following test procedures and processes.
- Operation of test facility and ground support equipment.
- Working with engineers on design concepts and facility improvements.
- Planning and executing assembly for complex mechanical systems.
- Safely working with hazardous chemicals and high pressure systems.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to promote workplace safety.
- Must be able to assemble, tool-up, and de-tool test components & test setups by using handtools, torque wrenches, gauges, hydraulic lifts, and electronic meters.
- Qualifications:0-3 years in assembly, test, automotive, rocket engine or jet engine testing, or rocket engine test facility support.
- Ability to work with test and flight safety critical hardware.
- Ability to work with standard mechanical tools and shop fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.; work in adverse weather conditions; climb stairs and ladders
