We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers for the transportation of freight.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling cargo.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
• Proven experience in truck driving, with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
