- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in self-contained classrooms
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate with a team of educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure the academic and social-emotional growth of students
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- municate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in IEP meetings
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
