To enable our business to expand our lead in a market increasingly enhanced by technology, Chubb is undertaking a substantial technology transformation.

We are seeking talented a Information Technology professional to join the Personal Risk Services (PRS) in an engineering position.

As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing to the development of robust and scalable web applications, utilizing your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance the overall user experience for our business and agency partners.

We're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about technology, building and maintaining quality systems with software implementation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Developing front-end web apps using Angular, HTML, and CSS.

Building and maintaining back-end capabilities using NodeJS and Typescript.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective application development.

Troubleshooting and debugging web applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Qualifications

4 years of experience as hands-on full stack software engineer

Experience in development of REST based APIs using Open API specification and/or creating specifications w/swagger

Experience delivering code to CI/CD enabled repositories

Perform complex troubleshooting of critical problem tickets, resolving defects in existing production software and provide root-cause analysis

Hands-on experience working with code quality and code coverage tools/frameworks

Understanding of how to secure webapps and APIs using OpenID/OAuth2.0 standards.

Experience in caching technologies and search is a plus

Experience with Azure cloud solutions (Cosmos w/ Mongo) a plus

Experience with deploying solutions to Kubernetes a plus

Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot a plus

Excellent written/verbal skills and demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure.
