    SUMMARY:

    The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and offers therapeutic interventions for patients experiencing communication and/or swallowing difficulties as a result of illness, accident, birth defect or developmental delay.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:
    Master's degree in Speech Pathology from ASHA accredited university

    Experience:
    Acute care experience preferred, including experience gained from graduate level clinical externship; strong dysphagia evaluation and treatment skills.

    License:
    NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license or license eligible

    prioritization of tasks, handling multiple tasks in fast paced environment, effective communication with patients, caregivers and staff
