Role Summary MetaPhase is seeking a Cyber Security Strategist with 8 or more (8+) years of experience to be a part of a federal customer engagement team supporting cybersecurity strategy, business requirements and analysis, and process improvement.

    This team will work closely with senior federal leadership to distill national cyber security mission requirements, identify gaps in current services, and draft strategic documents outlining future activities, ensuring they closely align with national cyber security plans.

    This position is not technical in nature, but rather requires an ability to work well with senior leaders, understand the current cybersecurity policy and plan landscape, and draft detailed strategic documents.

    What You Will Be Doing Work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate external business requirements into internal ones. Identify and solve the core business need, turning vague or aspirational business requirements into clear and concise strategic requirements. Conduct reviews of current activities to identify gaps between current activities and other requirements. Draft divisional strategic plans, ensuring alignment to other agency and national cyber security plans. Be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized.

    Leverage skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Apply strong communication skills to build relationships, connect people, and support team members.

    Own and lead communications between internal and external stakeholders as needed.

    What We Need From You (Required) Minimum of 10 or more (10+) years' experience in communications, business analysis or role that involves writing, speaking, coordination and 5 + of more years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.

    At least one related industry certification (i.e., Project/Program Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP))
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in cyber security policy, organizational change management, roadmaps, and AOP development and implementation.
    Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions)


    Bonus Points (Desired) Federal consulting experience; Experience at DHS a strong plus Security Clearance (Existing Top Secret Clearance preferred) Travel None Work Location Washington, D.C.
