The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine within the School of Medicine is seeking a research technician and transgenic mouse facility coordinator to manage a satellite mouse facility in a basic science laboratory to study the neurobiology of chronic pain.

The responsibilities will include laboratory research using neurobiological and pharmacological approaches to support the development of new non-opioid pharmacotherapies and analgesic drugs for the chronic pain that develops after neurotrauma, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis.
