Job Summary:
This position is part of a group of student services professionals in the fun, fast-paced Department of Sociology.
Working with other colleagues in the department, this position will be responsible for creation and maintenance of our schedule of courses (Timetable), related data management, logistical space management, and significant strategic planning.
With the consistent goal of improvement while working with the student services team, the department chair, associate chair, and department administrator, this role will play a key part in the next phase of our student services processes.

Key Job Responsibilities:
May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals.
Identifies program needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews
Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $41,244 up to $58,979 for highly experienced candidates. Actual pay within this range will depend on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to utilize independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events.
Proven experience assessing program needs, developing and improving unit workflows, coordinating schedules and logistics, and securing necessary resources for meetings, events, and interviews.
Experience coordinating multiple program components simultaneously, evaluating program effectiveness using qualitative and/or quantitative data, and presenting actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to oversee day-to-day operations of academic programs, resolve operational issues with sound judgment, and ensure activities align with established unit goals and performance benchmarks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with higher education environment.
Proven ability to manage, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, roles, and communication styles.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
