    Perform routine Quality Testing of Gas Producers, Power Turbines, and Reduction Gearboxes to ensure conformance to Solar and/or customer specifications.

    Promote and demonstrate support of all safety and lean initiatives.
    Assist with the installation and removal of gas turbines and accessories.
    Assist with green run and final performance acceptance test of gas turbines.
    Observe, record, and review test data.
    May support more senior Technicians in the resolution of skid or package issues.
    Assist in setup and use of all computerized data acquisition systems.
    Attend all available training programs as directed by management.

    Works under the general direction of a qualified Test Technician, Test Team Lead, Test Supervisor or Test EngineerMinimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.6+ months of mechanical experience, whether professional or personal.
    Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, and inspection and test equipment (micrometers and multimeters)

    Knowledgeable in the use and application of simple electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to resolve problems and make sound decisionsWilling to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet training, production and team goalsWilling to take initiative to improve technical expertise through hands-on, on line and instructor led trainingAbility to follow written or hands-on technical training/instructionPreferred Qualifications:
    Prior manufacturing experienceAble to communicate effectively within a cross-functional environmentBasic computer skillsVisa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
