The Role
The CRO Specialist will own the strategy, testing, and optimization of our e-commerce experience to increase conversion rates, average order value, and overall customer engagement. This role requires a strong balance of analytics, customer insight, and hands-on execution within a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CRO strategy to improve website performance and revenue
- Analyze user behavior through tools such as Google Analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis
- Plan, implement, and manage A/B and multivariate testing across landing pages, product pages, checkout, and site navigation
- Identify friction points in the customer journey and implement data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to prioritize optimization initiatives
- Optimize site merchandising, product presentation, and messaging to increase engagement and conversions
- Monitor key performance metrics including conversion rate, bounce rate, cart abandonment, and AOV
- Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership
- Stay current on e-commerce trends, UX best practices, and testing methodologies
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization, e-commerce optimization, or digital performance roles
- Proven track record of improving conversion rates and driving measurable revenue growth
- Strong experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize alternatives)
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and user behavior tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
- Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
