    Summary/objective

    QubicaAMF Worldwide is seeking a highly motivated Training Content Developer & Documentation Specialist to join our team In this position, you will play a key role in the development and creation of content and documentation specific to the Training Services department. The organization of said content and documentation for access by Training Services and related departments. The creation of Training content for use in Self-Study and Virtual Training Programs.

    To excel in this role, you should have a strong passion for online learning and have excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with employees of all levels. Your passion, creativity, organization skills, and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in our mission to take QubicaAMF training content from Good to Great

    Essential Functions

    • Design and fabrication of documentation to support the Training Services team using technical subject matter collected from subject matter experts
    • Creation of training content to be utilized by customers in Self-Study and Virtual Training environments, also for use within the Customer Training Resources site and LMS (simulations, eLearning, videos, etc.)
    • Documentation to include how-to documents, quick start guides, in-depth procedural manuals, product cards, and conversion of internal R&D material into customer-facing documents
    • Subject matter to include support documentation for QubicaAMF scoring and management products to be provided to customers in addition to internal documentation to support the Training Department
    • Organization and maintenance of created documentation within company SharePoint for access by appropriate QubicaAMF employees
    • Assist in the facilitation of live virtual training sessions
    • Identify training needs by evaluating current onsite and online training services
    • Periodically evaluate and update current eLearning courses and virtual training sessions to ensure that they reflect any product/operational changes
    • Assist the Training Services Manager with related projects as required
    • Other related duties to support the Training Services department, including attendance of virtual and in-person team meetings

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

    Competencies/Qualifications

    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Excellent grasp of written language
    • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
    • Strong fluency in computers and documentation-related software including Microsoft Office and Screen Capture
    • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate or Articulate. Captivate experience preferred
    • Knowledge of bowling industry operations, products, and terms preferred
    • Ability to translate knowledge into plain and easy-to-understand language
    • Ability to assimilate information quickly when working with colleagues
    • Sound decision-making and organizational skills
    • Ability to periodically travel to QAMF headquarters/meeting locations throughout the year

    Work environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a home office environment.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Extensive computer usage is required.

    No travel is required.

    Required education and experience

    • Minimum of associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of one year experience in a documentation-related professional capacity
    • Bowling center operation or bowling equipment background preferred
