The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment.
+Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, with a focus on cardiac care
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
- Oberserves patient records significant conditions reactions notifies supervisor or physician of patients cardiac status response to interventions
