As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances and interior areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, and document activity using a computer or tablet as needed. What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, assisting with directions, screening procedures, and/or badge compliance in accordance with location requirements.

Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or dispatch, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
