We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Accountant to support our St. Charles Manufacturing Location.The Senior Cost Accountant should be strategic, a team player with a positive attitude, be proactive, manage complex tasks, and possess a high attention to detail.
The Senior Cost Accountant must have the ability to collaborate with peers and management and demonstrate exceptional judgement and a high degree of professional maturity.
Assists with calculating and reporting cycle count metrics and related reconciliationsMonitor processes and controls relating to inventory transactions and reporting failures and areas for improvement
Performs the monthly accounting close process, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry postings
Support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and related audits
Assists excess and obsolete inventory review
Other adhoc requests/analysis/projects
Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance required; Experience with SAP preferred
~ 1 to 2+ Years in Manufacturing Finance with direct costing accounting experience.
~ Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, Power-Point) required
~ Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional and remote environment
~ Proven ability to manage multiple critical projects in a fast paced environment
